It's a beautiful day in Sunny Iowa, so we went for a really long walk, 6 1/4 miles and we found this really cool drinking bowl.

Mom didn't think we should be drinking out of it but it was just the right height for us, don't you think!

Dear Friends,

Today, we had to help MrSippi over the Rainbow Bridge and we know he was greeted by his best Friend, Carolina. He got very ill last night and Mom knew something was terribly wrong with the little boy. The vets said he had a terrible infection and he was in awful pain. It's very sad at our house today. Mom and Dad found MrSippi on the 4th of July, 2000, in a ditch on the side of the road overlooking the muddy Mississippi river near Guttenberg, Iowa. He either was thrown or fell out of a car and his little face was all messed up and the plan was take him back to Des Moines and to the local animal rescue league but on the way home, we fell in love with the little kitty who couldn't even eat because his face was smashed in from the accident. We miss you terribly my little boy!

Hello Everyone, It's me, MrSippi.

No one told me that Australia is much much bigger than the state of Iowa but I finally made it to Huffle's home and we have a wonderful day together. Here we are just enjoying her beautiful back yard. It's quite lovely there.

We watched the birds on the telephone lines but we didn't try and catch them.

Good-byes are sad and my very dearest Huffle was sad when I said I had to head back across the ocean to my home in Iowa.

We such a great time, I promised to come back very soon and not to take a walk-about with kangaroos.

Iowa State Fair is over for 2009

The Iowa State Fair ended yesterday after Thor and I did our agility demo last night so Mom took us over to check out the clean-up and we had a great time - Here's some pictures of what we found! Marco Polo

Guess what we have been doing?

Mom took us to Nebraska earlier this month and we got to run agility at the Qwest Center. Thor proved he was more adult than Me and ran perfectly all weekend for Mom. I had way more fun as you can see from my run. Love, Marco Polo

Saturday Trip to the Iowa State Fairgrounds

Hello Everyone, You probably remember our walks at the fairgrounds and the beautiful flower garden where Mom always makes us walk nicely and not dig. Last week, the area gardeners were busy planting and we couldn't go into the garden so early this morning we got to see what they did! Here we are sitting nicely in the rose garden area.

WHOA! Little miniature horses! Mom said we would scare them because we were bigger than them! I begged Mom but she said No Way could we go inside of the barn!

Well, We were hoping for some Q's in agility today but Thor decided to act like a true-blooded Siberian and was very very naughty.  For everyone who was impressed with yesterday's agility run, prepare to laugh at today's runs!

A New Dog Park in Altoona

We just finished our Friday walk when we found this new dog park. Of course, after our 5 miles we were really too tired to enjoy it but it's quite nice and Mom loves the 6 foot fence! It's really not really big but it was big enough for the two of us but sadly No Trees to mark!

Weekend Happenings in Iowa

MrSippi and Mama have been enjoying the beautiful Sunshine and they actually think they like each other. Very Interesting?  They hiss at each other most of the time.

Thor's big Weekend

My Mom is proud - I was so obedient, not zooming around the ring, staying for my one minute sit and three minute down, even with birds flying over my head.  Marco and I got cheeseburgers on the way home.  I am now a Companion Dog. Whatever that means!  Thor (sure, I can be good! Grinning from ear to ear).

We Love Deer and woodland Critters

mom took us walkin yesterday and we had great time "playing" with the woodland Critters!  First, we wanted to visit the Marmet but Mom didn't get a picture cause she was busy trying to keep us from going down in his little house(hole in the ground).  And of course, we wanted to go and run with the bunnies, again, Mom said NO. And just when she was ready to relax, we found our Bambi friends.  Mom did get a pic before we charged them!!!

Wednesday Wanderings

We love Wednesdays, Mom stays home and takes us for a long long walk, then it's nap time!

MrSippi finally gets outside to work on his plan

I have been crying and crying for Mom to let us go outside and eat some dandelion greens(Or look for the way out).  Finally, this afternoon, I got my chance.

Maybe I could just outrun the old women and run to the fence across the yard and over? 

Mama said she wouldn't say a word, she just enjoys the sunshine.

Everyone is back home again in Iowa

Hello Everyone,

Well, we are back in Iowa and as you can see, we are still chewing on each other for entertainment. We do love each other!  

Marco sent me this picture from Camp Barynuk's - Such a silly boy! 

Here we are in front of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.  Mom walked to the top - 250 steps! 

This is the Bodie Lighthouse.  You can't go inside of it or climb it! 

Here I am enjoying the morning sun, waiting for mom to bring me a mocha with Whipping Creme.

I'm looking for Alligators here. This is Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge. 

Last Evening at the beach!  We think Whisper was ready to head home!

Nights in Rodanthe Revisited

Here I am looking for Richard Gere. My Mom loves him and we found the house from Nights in Rodanthe.  I figured I could take some of this sand home and we could sell it on EBay, saying Richard Gere ran on it in the movie? Then I could have $$$$$ to buy me toys and treats! Do you think it will work?  

Here's the other side of the house.  A big storm took out the bottom of the house and part of the decks and now the tide comes clear under the house so no one lives there anymore.  But it's still beautiful but the purple shutters are gone.
